Introduction:

 

Since every society needs to grow up and bring welfare to its people, the youths of Farah feels same as well. Certainly sport is an element that brings more unity and peace among people and nations. The youths of Farah province has been united during the years and have continued providing peace and stability among all youths much more. We certainly can say that sport is one of the most important pillars of a developed society. It really created friendship, peace, and trust between and among people.

 

Some sport interested youths in Farah tried to establish a peace academy and finally in late months of 2006 the association of “Solh Sport Academy” was founded in Farah province and later on it got registered in Afghanistan Olympics Committee of Farah Provincial Branch.

 

Objectives:

 

The word “Solh” is a local languages word; that means “peace” in English.
Solh Sports Academy (SSA) is a supporting and instructing academy of sports in Farah and has always attempted to persuade the youths in development of local society and entire Afghanistan. SSA works to bring and provide peace, education, health, counter narcotics, unity and development through sports, it also tries to save the people from the daily and future possibly violence throughout public awareness, which has proved it. It’s worth mentioning that SSA is the only and first academy in Farah province that provides different trainings to the teenagers and youths of Farah province in various sport fields.

 

Vision and Mission:

 

Looking forward a bright future for all people of Afghanistan and the world. We believe that all should get together and united to work for a peaceful future and developed society with no violence. We also believe that beside the other elements, sport is one of the important pillars that brings development, creates trust, improve friendship, and makes a welfare society.

 

Important Notice:

 

1.   SSA is a social, non-governmental, non-political, and non-profitable association which works for development, unity, peace, prevent youths from involvement in narcotics and drugs,  and the aims stated above.

 

2.      This academy has been established based on rules and laws of Islamic regulations and laws of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

 

3.      The name of the academy is Solh Sport Academy (SSA) which is officially registered in Afghan Olympics Committee in Farah Province Afghanistan. Full name in three languages includes:

 

·         In Pastho it’s: د سولی سپورتی اکاډمی

·         In Dari it’s: اکادمی ورزشی صلح

·         In English it’s: Solh Sport Academy (SSA)

 

The name of academy could be changed according to needs and suggestions of members; and with coordination of Afghan Olympics Committee.

 

4.      SSA can get membership of any other associations those who meet SSA’s aims and regulations.

 

5.      This academy is able to get assistance from individuals and/or companies who would aim to improve SSA’s objectives among society.

 

6.      SSA welcomes everybody to get its membership. The regulations of SSA membership will be explained and briefed to the newly comers.
